To support the health and well-being of our university community during the pandemic, the following guidelines for traveling for U-M engaged learning activities are in effect during the ongoing pandemic. These guidelines will remain in effect so long as the U-M suspension of non-essential U-M related travel is in effect. Faculty, staff, and students who are considering travel for U-M related purposes must follow U-M travel guidelines.

Travel Abroad: Visit Global Michigan to view requirements for faculty & staff, graduate student, and undergraduate student travel to U-M Travel Warning and U-M Travel Restriction destination.

Travel within the United States: Visit Engaged Learning to view requirements for U.S. off-campus travel & engaged learning guidance during COVID-19.

U-M travel guidelines do not apply to personal travelers, such as students, faculty and staff traveling back to their homes to live, visit family members, engage in activities that are not considered U-M related, etc.
