ANN ARBOR, Mich., March 28, 2007--

The Graham Institute is pleased to support this applied, interdisciplinary course offered by Professor Joan Nassauer (SNRE). This course is open to graduate students across campus, especially students in Business, CoE, LSA, Public Policy, SNRE, SPH, and TCAUP. The course will provide students unprecedented opportunities to work with leading practitioners of all aspects of brownfield remediation and redevelopment.

They will apply their solutions to the course case study site, a brownfield site in Stamford, CT currently being redeveloped by Lubert-Adler Real Estate Funds. The required site visit and charette with leading practitioners will occur October 12-16, 2007. The Graham Institute and Lubert-Adler will cover the cost of the site visit.

This class is open to graduate students (undergraduate seniors may be considered if space allows). Enrollment is by permission of instructor only. The first class will be limited to 30 students. To be considered, please submit an application to ktalik@umich.edu.
