To fully understand and address the complexity inherent in achieving a sustainable environment, integration of many different academic topics and disciplines is required.

Seven schools and colleges at the University of Michigan offer numerous sustainability and environmentally related degree programs. Each program utilizes the innovative research capabilities and interdisciplinary collaboration that the campus provides. At present there are currently ten undergraduate degrees, eleven masters level degrees, and fifteen doctoral level degrees that have a significant environmental focus. In addition, many undergraduate minors and graduate level certificates are oriented toward sustainable education as well as various dual and combination degree options.

The Graham Institute Web site provides descriptions of these environmental degree specialized programs and outlines their admissions processes. For further information, please contact the school or college directly and they will be happy to assist you.
