20.A General Principles

The University strives to maintain access to local, national, and international sources of information for the members of its community and to provide an atmosphere that encourages access to knowledge and the sharing of information. Toward that goal, it has extensive technology, communications, and media services available for faculty, students, and staff. These centrally provided services are augmented by additional resources and support, including discipline-specific technology tools, provided by departments, schools, colleges, and other units.
