Additional opportunities are available to retired faculty who are granted

The University offers a basic retirement plan designed to provide faculty with an income for retirement. The Benefits Office has several publications that will familiarize faculty with retirement options, including "University of Michigan Retirement Savings Plan," and "Your Retirement Benefits," which describe faculty retirement options in full. For copies of publications regarding retirement and for additional information about any aspect of retirement, contact the Benefits Office at 763-1214 or request publications by sending email to benefits.books@umich.edu or check the Benefits website for a list of publications at <www.umich.edu/~benefits/books/index.htm>.
