18.G Occupational Safety and Environmental Health

The primary goal of the Department of Occupational Safety and Environmental Health (OSEH) is to provide guidance, consultation, training, surveys, and services to the University community. Through monitoring activities, OSEH ensures compliance with regulatory agencies. Specific services include radioactive and hazardous waste disposal, occupational safety and health, accident prevention, radiation safety, biosafety, environmental assessments, and pollution prevention.

For questions that need immediate attention after-hours and on week-ends, call DPS at 763-1131.
