15.C Dependents

Dependents of faculty members may be eligible for enrollment in some of the benefits plans in which faculty participate. Eligible dependents include a legal spouse; an individual who qualifies as an Other Qualified Adult (OQA); children by birth, adoption, or legal guardianship; unmarried, disabled children; unmarried children of a faculty member’s spouse or an Other Qualified Adult; and principally supported children. Certain age and dependency requirements apply to children, depending on how they are related to the faculty member.
