10.J Resources Outside the UniversityFaculty members who feel it is necessary to have an external agency review their complaint about discriminatory conduct, including sexual harassment, may contact the Michigan Department of Civil Rights (MDCR) or the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). Both agencies have offices in Detroit and can be contacted at the following phone numbers: MDCR, 313/256-2663, TTY, 313/961-1552; EEOC, 313/226-7636, TTY, 313/226-7599. An additional resource outside the University that can help resolve disputes with the administration is the American Association of University Professors (AAUP).
