10.G Services of the Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) and
M-Works Employee Assistance Program

The Faculty and Staff Assistance Program (FASAP) is committed to providing confidential and professional assessment, short-term problem resolution counseling, and referral services (when appropriate) to the University community. FASAP also offers a personalized coaching service for faculty and senior administrators to help them achieve professional or personal goals. FASAP services are available at no cost to current and retired faculty and their dependents. The services are available to assist with such personal issues as interpersonal conflicts, marital/partner or family conflicts, and psychological symptoms such as depression and anxiety that may be affecting work performance or career advancement.

FASAP has offices on Central Campus at Administrative Services Building, Health Service, and Bursley Hall. For services on Central Campus or Flint, call 936-8660. To access services on the Dearborn campus, call 313/593-5430. The M-Works Employee Assistance Program provides similar services for employees of the University of Michigan Health System at 763-5409.
